From the French

"Diapositive" comes from the French word for slide. And to start this blog, a winter scene with the Gatineau River, probably taken on the way to Wakefield, Quebec. This slide is about 20 years old, and if I remember correctly, we were going winter camping and I lost my glasses. My best buddy suggested we come back in the spring once the ice melted to look for them
